About Me
I am a self taught digital artist, who accumulated skills from studying traditional art. I did my A-levels in Fine Art over a course of two years, where I did three major projects, my main one being on portraiture. I built up my skills in the fundamentals, such as sketching and painting. After this, I translated this knowledge to digital illustration, through self-study and practice!
My main focus storybook illustrations and personalised character design. In which I have experimented in different styles, ranging from black and white sketches to caricatures to more detailed pieces. I am currently illustrating a children's book about what our muscles do! So if you love fitness, and want to share this with your children, feel free to follow along the journey of @thehumblesixpack on instagram!
I chose Fine Arts as a GCSE, with absolutely no ability to draw anything. It is something I have put thousands of hours into to be able to get to the skill level I am at now. I adore the idea of creating something magical, I love fairytales, so to be able to bring these stories to life in my own way is so special. Children’s book opens a door to this, the possibilities are endless when it comes to a story, meaning I don’t have any restrictions with the art I create. I know I can offer a full service, and not just a piece of work, I want to put my time into creating something special, for kids all over the world to enjoy.
I create tattoo designs, mainly focusing on line-work, but also able to design watercolour pieces. A big inspiration to a lot of my work is mythology, and being able to depict a character through my eyes.
I also have experience in creating marketing materials for a number of companies, this includes logo design, brochures and social media content. I am able to create useful material as a result of the knowledge I have of digital marketing.
